The ZIPP Super 9 Disc Wheel is designed as Zipp’s fastest rear wheel tailored for triathlon and time trial disciplines. This tubeless, disc-brake wheel combines aerodynamic efficiency with real-road speed by pairing a 23 mm internal hookless rim with modern 28 mm+ tires.

Rim & Tire System

The carbon rim is tubeless-only and hookless, optimized for 28 mm tires running at lower pressures to reduce rolling resistance. The recommended maximum tire pressure is approximately 73 psi (5.0 bar), with guidance available to adjust pressure based on tire size and rider weight.

Hub & Drivetrain

The rear hub is a premium ZR1 SL model featuring ceramic bearings for smooth rolling and quick engagement (66 points of engagement). It uses a Center-Lock rotor interface and offers freehub compatibility with XDR and SRAM/Shimano Road driver bodies.
