Nomad Notes
A brim changes weather.
Caps endure because they solve several small problems at once. They manage sweat, shield low sun, soften light rain, or add a touch of warmth under a helmet without adding bulk. A rider may see them as style first, but their usefulness appears quickly on mixed-weather rides. Fit matters: the cap should sit flat, avoid pressure points, and not interfere with helmet retention. The brim can be up for visibility or down for glare and spray. It is a modest piece that earns its place quietly.
