Nomad Notes
Being seen is a system.
Visibility works best when it is considered from several angles: brightness, beam shape, flash pattern, mounting height, battery life, and how the light behaves in daylight versus darkness. Newer riders sometimes buy the brightest number without considering whether it blinds others, lights the road properly, or lasts the full ride. Radar adds awareness, but it does not replace shoulder checks or judgement. Mounts should be secure and clear of bags, saddles, and clothing. If you commute, ride dawn or dusk, or use group roads, build a visibility routine rather than treating lights as an afterthought.
