Product Story

Product details

Overview

The TIME XPRO 12 SL is a flagship road pedal designed for lightness, efficiency, and ease of clipping in. Featuring the innovative ICLIC mechanism, it holds the rear retainer open for a simple step-down engagement rather than a snap against spring tension. The large 725 mm² platform provides confident tracking, especially when riding out of the saddle.

Power Transfer & Stability

Compared to TIME's earlier XPRESSO pedals, the XPRO platform increases the usable contact area to better convert steady torque into forward speed during high-force efforts. A low 14.7 mm stack height keeps the shoe close to the axle for a planted and efficient pedal feel.

Engagement, Float & Release

The ICLIC system pairs with included ICLIC free-float cleats to offer ±5° angular float and ±1.25 mm lateral float, helping ease knee alignment on long rides. The release angle is a predictable 16°, and a carbon blade provides three tension settings for customizable entry and exit force.

Construction & Bearings

The pedals feature a hollow titanium spindle and ceramic bearings to minimize weight and friction while maintaining durability. The carbon-reinforced body is aerodynamically shaped and offers good ground clearance.

Fit Options & Inclusions

Available in three Q-factor options—51 mm, 53 mm, and 57 mm—to fine-tune stance width. ICLIC cleats are included for immediate installation and use.
