The Force AXS HRD E1 Shift-Brake System is SRAM’s latest Force-level wireless control and hydraulic braking package. Featuring the E1 hood redesign, it improves comfort and control for a wider range of hand sizes while reducing finger pinch and hand fatigue.

Ergonomics & Braking

The redesigned lever body supports confident one-finger braking from the hoods or drops. Large tactile surfaces and textured shift paddles ensure easy control even in wet conditions or with gloves.

Wireless Shifting & Bonus Button

Utilizing SRAM’s AXS wireless ecosystem and eTap shift logic, the system provides intuitive shifting. Each lever includes a programmable Bonus Button for auxiliary shifting or ANT+ head-unit control.

Service & Adjustability

Reach Adjust allows tuning lever reach to fit hand size and braking preference. The Bleeding Edge caliper port simplifies bleeding for cleaner, more consistent service.

System Notes

The system uses steel-backed organic pads and recommends Paceline rotors. It is compatible with Force road (12-speed) and Force XPLR (13-speed) drivetrains within the AXS road/gravel family.
