Schwalbe Thunder Burt is built for one job: maximum speed on fast, dry XC terrain. Schwalbe calls it their fastest MTB tire, combining very low rolling resistance with enough bite to stay predictable when you lean the bike over on hardpack.

Fast-rolling tread with real cornering support

The center tread uses multiple small, flat studs that roll quickly and quietly. Across the tire, Schwalbe adds numerous grip edges for hard ground traction, and then finishes with edged shoulder studs to keep cornering feel secure and controlled when you commit in turns.

Compound and casing options

Thunder Burt is offered with ADDIX Speed compound for XC speed and efficiency. Depending on the size you choose, it’s available in Schwalbe’s Super Ground or Super Race constructions, letting you match protection and ride feel to your trails and priorities.

Tubeless setup

Tubeless Easy (TLE) versions are available for modern tubeless setups. For best performance, set pressure by rider weight, rim width, and terrain—Thunder Burt rewards lower XC pressures on hardpack and mixed trails for speed and control.
