Efficient Chain Cleaning

The Park Tool CM-5.3 Cyclone Chain Scrubber enables quick and thorough cleaning of bicycle chains without the need to remove them from the bike. It features an extra-large solvent reservoir that holds 59 mL (2 fl. oz.) of cleaning fluid and a series of four rotating brushes to clean chains inside and out.

Advanced Cleaning Technology

  • A strong magnet at the bottom of the solvent reservoir captures metallic particles scrubbed from the chain, preventing redistribution during cleaning.
  • A durable sponge wicks solvent from the chain as it exits the scrubber, reducing drips and mess.
  • The reversible handle allows chain cleaning in both forward and backward directions, making it compatible with center drive e-bikes.

Compatibility and Use

The CM-5.3 works with all standard bicycle chain sizes, including wide 3/16" single-speed chains and narrow 12 and 13-speed chains. It is compatible with multi-speed bikes (5 to 12-speed) and some single-speed models. For best results, use with Park Tool CB-4 ChainBriteâ„¢ Degreaser. When using, hold the CM-5.3 body straight with the chain to avoid the chain coming off sprockets.
